Welcome to Camp Sagitawa!

We look forward to welcoming everyone this coming year. At Camp Sagitawa we aim to CARE, CONNECT, CHALLENGE and COMMISSION as we share the gospel message and create unforgettable memories.

Please note that many of our camps currently have a waitlist. We are working hard behind the scenes to build our Summer Team, but are in need of Cabin Leaders so we can open up more spaces to campers. Once our team is in place, we’ll be reaching out to families to confirm spaces at Camp based on the order of the waitlist.

If you are interested in serving at Camp this summer, please submit your application in the link below or contact the Camp office.

Waiting?? Why not check out our Family Retreat and bring everyone for a fun packed weekend at Camp.

Job Posting: Food Service Manager

Join our team as Food Service Manager and help create exceptional dining experiences for campers, guests, staff, and volunteers throughout the year. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who loves cooking for groups, building a positive team culture, and serving others through hospitality and ministry. You’ll oversee kitchen operations, support and mentor staff and volunteers, and play an important role in fostering a welcoming camp community. If you’re organized, people-focused, and passionate about using your gifts to serve others, we’d love to hear from you.

At Sagitawa we are committed to caring for people and connecting them with Christ. Through relationships and programs that both challenge and encourage, we pursue personal growth and a deeper connection with our Creator.

What We Offer

Summer 2026 is here! Check out more information on the camp programs we are running this summer.

Looking for the perfect place to host your next event? Our summer camp facility offers a beautiful and unique setting for everything from family reunions to retreats, youth groups, and more. With spacious accommodations, outdoor activities, and a peaceful atmosphere, it’s an ideal location to make lasting memories.

The work at Camp Sagitawa makes a difference in people’s lives. There are so many stories of people who have been impacted by what happens here. You don’t need a special calling to serve— you just need to be willing to help. And at Sagitawa, there are tons of ways to get involved and make a real impact.

Kids coming to camp is only possible because of awesome people like you! Campers only pay about one-third of the cost, and donations are needed to cover the rest. When you help, you’re giving kids a chance to have fun, make memories, and hear about the gospel. Would you consider making a donation today to help us provide this life-changing opportunity?

Site Director / Camp Director Position currently open.

Pippin
Pippin is our (unofficial) Head of Security.  You may spot him checking the property perimeter, searching staff for treats, or issuing trespassing citations to birds.  Despite his sometimes gruff demeanor he actually really likes people and is only upset that he can’t greet everyone who visits.

Volunteer for Projects

HOW DO I VOLUNTEER?

There are so many opportunities to volunteer, and so many who come and help us in one way or another. We appreciate all.

Some projects cannot be done while camp sessions are in process. Others can.Our Property Chair is responsible to manage camp property projects.

We may have 2-3 ongoing projects at a time. We have three thoughts regarding volunteers.

  • Volunteers may help with basic upkeep as needed – i.e. mowing lawns, stacking firewood, etc.
  • Volunteers may help with current projects – these are prioritized by the Property Committee.
  • Volunteers may offer to begin another project on the condition that they finish what they start and that they do it to camp standard. What is done well is safer and saves on maintenance in future years.

For each of the above, please let us know by contacting the office. We will either provide the information or pass you on to our Property Chair.
